Timekeeper

Timekeeper, 2007, 84″x34″, Medical Scans, Watercolor, Ink, and Graphite on Paper

Timekeeper is a composite of various personal medical images that were scanned, resized to life-size, and then printed on watercolor paper. The blank areas were filled in by hand based on a reimagined body that contains millennia of evolution, centuries of industrial progress, and one individual lifetime.

This project is partially supported by a CAAP grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
