“Pajo” (i.e. “Donald,” as in Duck) started his boat tour business about a year before I left Yugoslavia. He relentlessly drove his motorboat along the shore with megaphone in hand, inviting tourists for a ride. We made fun of him as kids. Now he has a whole fleet of boats in every size. I never imagined I’d end up on one. I wish I had a photo of our skipper’s Donald Duck tattoo.
