Somaphony came out of a collaboration with bass clarinetist Jason Stein for a project curated by Homeroom and Elastic Arts in Chicago. A live performance at Constellation involved rope lights and a pinhole camera that recorded long exposures of Stein’s movement. One of these images was enlarged and turned into a three color screenprint at Spudnik Press Cooperative.
